Full Day Tour Stirling Castle and The Trossachs

Image
Efe Gokce : Fantastic Flavour of Scotland Including a Castle, a Distillery and a Loch I love this tour because of its mix of history, nature, quirky roads and beautiful mountains and lochs. Stirling Castle guards the gateway to the Highlands and is called the 'Brooch of Scotland' because whoever held it controlled the country. From its walls there are fine views of the route we will take later in the day into the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This is Braveheart country and Stirling has a fascinating story to tell about the lives of Robert the Bruce, William Wallace and Mary Queen of Scots, often depicted in literature and film. At Deanston Distillery we will learn about the making of whisky, Scotland's national drink. There will also be an opportunity to drive past Doune Castle or 'Castle Leoch' of Outlander (and Monty Python) fame. After lunch at a typical country town, we return via the scenic Duke's Pass and Loch Venachar and hear tales of ...

What is Oyster card? : Efe Gokce

Image
Efe Gokce Oyster card is a payment method for public transport in London (and certain areas around it) in the United Kingdom. A standard Oyster card is a blue credit-card-sized stored-value contactless smart card. It is promoted by Transport for London (TfL) and can be used on travel modes across London including London Buses, London Underground, the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), London Overground, Tramlink, some river boat services, and most National Rail services within the London fare zones. Since its introduction in June 2003, more than 86 million cards have been used.   Oyster cards can hold period tickets; travel grants and; most usually, credit for movement ("Pay as you go"), which should be added to the card before movement. Travelers contact it on an electronic peruser while entering and passing on the vehicle framework to approve it or deduct assets from the put away credit. Cards might be "beat up" by repeating installment authority, by online buy,...

Efe Gokce: The Tower of London and a scenic River Thames Boat Cruise

Image
Efe Gokce: The church with a famous dome, the infamous Tower and superb views of historic London. A private guided tour of two of London's most famous landmarks and amazing sights of central London. The famous dome of St Paul's has defined the London skyline for over 300 years, but there has been a place of worship on this site since the 7th C. I'll guide you through this extraordinary church, still a place of daily worship and where the nation marks great events of significance. The Queen's 90th birthday Thanksgiving Service was held here. The Tower is infamous. During it's 900-year history it has been a Royal Palace, a prison and place of execution, the Royal Mint, a fortress and is where the magnificent Crown Jewels are kept. You'll even meet the Tower ravens and of course the famous Beefeaters, or Yeoman Warders. And as we cruise down the River Thames you will see the heart of London revealed with a live commentary along the way (the boat provides t...

Efe Gokce: How to Prepare Your Press Release/Media

Image
Efe gokce has nearly 20 years of experience in the Press and Media industry. He is a specialist in printed and visual themes. A press release brings information to the attention of the press and broadcast media, and in turn the public, generating publicity. The following guidelines should help you on your way. • Include basic information. The release should answer the questions: who, what, when, where, why and how. • Get your story across early. If your first sentence or paragraph is obscure, complicated or boring, journalists probably won't bother reading on. • Keep the release concise - one side if possible, and no more than two. • Avoid jargon, acronyms and abbreviations unless they are generally well-known by your target audience. • Include quotes - draft them yourself if need be, but always get them approved! • Don't make misleading statements. • Make sure your subject and style suit the target audience. • For events, give a precise timetable and locat...
